Adopt-A-School Program: Inspiring the Next Generation Through Theodore Roosevelt’s Legacy
The Theodore Roosevelt Association invites supporters to participate in our Adopt-A-School Program, a meaningful way to preserve and promote the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt in classrooms across the nation. Through this initiative, donors provide educational resources that bring Roosevelt’s remarkable life, leadership, and conservation efforts into schools, inspiring students to embrace his values of courage, service, and determination.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Funds raised for the Adopt-A-School Program enable us to provide schools with valuable educational materials, including lesson plans, historical facts, interactive activities, and multimedia content focused on TR’s life, conservation achievements, and his impact on American history. This program complements TRA’s broader mission of fostering youth leadership, awarding historical scholarships, and supporting programs related to the Navy, Police, Teddy Bears for Kids, and more.
What Donors Can Do
- Sponsor schools or classrooms to receive TRA-curated educational resources.
- Support digital and printed materials that engage students with Roosevelt’s story and legacy.
- Facilitate guest speaker visits, virtual webcasts, and youth contests that reinforce learning and leadership.
Through your generosity, the next generation will gain a deeper understanding of Theodore Roosevelt’s enduring influence and be inspired to live by his principles of boldness and public service.
