Robbie is Executive Director at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Previously, he was an associate at McKinsey & Company’s Minneapolis office, having joined after graduating with his master’s in public policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. While at the Kennedy School, he served as senior advisor to North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum’s reelection campaign, completed a fellowship in Federal Reserve Board Chairman Jerome Powell’s office, and worked as a research assistant to Professor Arthur Brooks.
Prior to attending graduate school, Robbie served as senior policy advisor to Governor Burgum. In this role, he led the governor’s policy team, oversaw the development of the administration’s biennial budget, and acted as liaison between the federal government and the governor’s office. Before his time in the governor’s office, Robbie served as political director on Governor Burgum’s successful campaign for governor in 2016.
Robbie graduated with honors from North Dakota State University, where he was awarded the Harry S. Truman Scholarship, served as student body president, and co-founded Great Rides Bike Share, North Dakota’s first community bike share program.
